A Project Promoting Healthy Living for Everyone in Schools.

We are proud to be an Apple School!

École Dickinsfield School partners with APPLE Schools to build a healthy school community. APPLE Schools is the only school health promotion project in Alberta proven to change health outcomes in schools. The project works with school communities to improve students’ healthy eating, physical activity, and mental health habits in a cost-effective manner. Each year, APPLE Schools improves the health of more than 19,000 students in 63 schools across northern Alberta. Each APPLE School has an identified School Health Champion who serves as the leader for healthy initiatives in the school. École Dickinsfield School is lucky to have two Health Champions this year, Mme Erin Andrews (erin.andrews@fmpsd.ab.ca) and Mrs. Michelle Elliott (michelle.elliott@fmpsd.ab.ca).
