The Dickinsfield Flyers Fundraising Association (DFFA) is a registered society that provides support to students and teachers through fundraising and volunteer activities. The DFFA is composed of all parents or guardians of École Dickinsfield students. All members in attendance at a meeting may vote on issues before the Association.
The Association raises funds through weekly hot lunch sales, casinos, and special fundraising campaigns throughout the school year. These funds are used to provide financial support to the school in the form of capital purchases, special programs, and activities as approved by the membership.
In the past, the DFFA has been able to provide, among many other things:
- Gymnasium projector and sound system
- Playground and gym equipment
- Promethean boards
- Mobile iPad lab
- Furniture
- Emergency meal supply
- Literacy supplies and student awards
- Funding for school clubs and teams
The DFFA also oversees the planning and operation of the hot lunch program, the welcome back BBQ, the charity bazaar, and the staff appreciation luncheon.
All parents and guardians are welcome to become members and attend our monthly meetings and/or run for an executive position.
