Our PowerSchool Parent Portal was launched just last year and although many of you have already signed up, and are using the Parent Portal successfully, many more parents still need to sign up for this awesome tool!
PowerSchool's Parent Portal is a SECURE web based program that gives parents the ability to view your child's assignments, attendance, grading information, complete payment of school fees - even class field trips!!
Visit the division website and create an account. You will need your child's Access ID and password. (If you don't already have this info, please email crystal.martyshuk@fmpsd.ab.ca and I will get that info for you.)
Please contact each school individually for the Access ID and Passwords for each child.
Call or email (crystal.martyshuk@fmpsd.ab.ca), we can give you the username and can reset your password if needed.
As a result of the Alberta Teachers Association (ATA) rejecting a proposed deal from the Teachers’ Employer Bargaining Association (TEBA), all FMPSD schools will be closed to students starting Monday, October 6, 2025, unless a new agreement is reached or strike action is otherwise averted. Additionally, all yellow school bus routes will be suspended for the duration of the strike.
In light of the ongoing strike, all extracurricular activities, including sports, clubs, and after-school programs, will be temporarily suspended.
As there is no definitive end date for the strike, FMPSD is unable to provide a timeline for when normal operations will resume. We will continue to provide timely updates as we receive them from the Ministry of Education and Child Care.
