École Dickinsfield Re-Entry Plan

Dear École Dickinsfield Parents, Guardians and Caregivers,

We are eagerly awaiting seeing your children very soon. We welcome several new staff to our team, including two new vice principals, Mme Leannah Robertson, and Ms. Andrews. A reminder that we are following a staggered start plan, as per our school division press release earlier this month. Students will only come to school one day next week according to the below schedule:

Grade 1-6 staggered entry schedule

Kindergarten & ECDP staggered entry schedule

Rest assured, we have been putting new protocols and safety measures in place to ensure the safety of your children and our staff. Below is a copy of our school Operational Procedures for Re-Entry.  This contains some very important information such as our "trickle-in" entry procedures, staggered recesses, and protocols for students showing symptoms. Though the plan is comprehensive, should you still have questions, please don't hesitate to call the front office and ask for one of our administrators.  Further information on FMPSD Re-Entry procedures can be found on the FMPSD website: https://sites.google.com/fmpsd.ab.ca/fmpsdschoolre-entryinfo/re-entry-guidelines

Classroom teachers will be contacting parents to let them know their child's class sometime Friday for grade 1's, and Monday or Tuesday for our other students. Thank you for your patience as we confirm registrations and make adjustments to classes as needed.

Once again, we are very much looking forward to seeing your children very soon. Though this will be a different year, and surely one to remember, it will be a wonderful one.
